hurricane season... already?
I can't believe it's already the first of June. Everyone should already know that it's the first day of hurricane season as well. They seem to think that they have to continually repeat it on every news station today. O well, hopefully this season won't be bad. That's all that we can hope for.
Work has been good. Sometimes it's really stressful because of all of the motion and such, but other times it's really slow and there isn't much to do. However, when it's slow I don't get as many tips. But that's ok because only the waitresses work for tips really. Tips for me are more like a bonus I guess. But overall I like it. I really like all of the people that I work with too. Especially the cook guy. He's hilarious.
Even though I don't work everyday it still sucks a tad because I don't get to see my friends as often as I would like. My dad usually takes the car on the days that I am off so he doesn't have to ride his motorcycle everyday. Being as it's so hot outside I don't think that you would smell very good after a ride to work. haha. Didn't think of that before.
It is so hot outside! I can't get over how early it got this hot! And the people were supposed to come and turn off the electricity so they could work on the poles. They were on their way yesterday, BUT still haven't come today either. It will suck with they do decide to come though especially it I am home because it will get ridiculously hot in here.
Cullen's coming home this weekend! I just hope that I get to see him because I may have to work Friday and Saturday, but I hope that it's only Friday because those are our two crazy-kill-yourself days.
I also didn't get to watch all of my stories today because of the stupid mayor inaguration crap. Who wants to watch that anyway? I mean seriously. And if they are going to do that it should be on one station instead of all 50. Assholes. But, I bet that Oprah will come on. I am always surprised if they cancel her. It almost never happens.
I really want to go see "The Breakup" this weekend. Which I can't Friday, but I would like to Saturday. Ah well, if I have to work, Sunday will do as well. =)
I have been working on Michael's 8th grade scrapbook and it is coming out really nicely. I am proud of myself. I still need to add a few things though. I am more than halfway down which makes me happy. So I shall work on that later on tonight.
But I really want to go and get a coffee. I haven't had one in a while. I am so used to getting one almost everyday at school with my paw points and such. And I have tried the Fiji water, which I am now in love with. Damn Rakel with her temptations of trying the expensive Fiji water.
Ok.. off to relax and cuddle Phil.
Maybe I'll learn even more about the Jolie-Pitt baby today! (sarcastic) I mean seriously, leave the poor people alone and let them enjoy their new baby. :)
