For all those following along in the drama that is my life, the last week was a nightmare on wheels. Right now, I am waiting to see if I can postpone my recital to a later date, but the head of my department hasn;t responded to my e-mail yet...that is not good, considering that they are expecting me to sing another hearing today in about an hour and 45 minutes, and I don't have an accompanist on campus to play for it...hehehehe...I am doomed...
The weekend was decent, for the most part. Work on Friday night was the most horrid work experience I have had in a while. BBV decided that all the stores were using entirely too many labor hours, and so they decided to cut 30 hours from our schedule...starting with Thursday...
Having only two people work during a shift which usually has 5-6 people working is not a good thing...
Having only two people work that same shift and expecting them to promote any type of promotion is ridiculous...
Having only two people work that same shift while trying to get them to promote sales and expecting them to be able to clock out for breaks in order to save additional labor hours is madness...
Needless to say, Friday was not a fun experience. Oh yeah, and I hate my store manager for being a whore and causing unnecessary drama in our lives. I hope that he gets caught with his illegitmate lover/shift leader and that they both get terminated for being incompetent and taking advantage of the hours taht are being cut so low as is...bastards...
Aside from the Friday craziness, the weekend was ok...
Saturday, I went to Richardson Square Mall via DART, and had a blast. The arcade there is SO beautiful, I spent three and a half hours playing nothing but rhythm games. I finally have an arcade that has Dance Maniax, my first and favorite rhythm game of all time...except that I am out of shape, and the 2 hours I spent on that game took a toll on my arms and shoulders...so sore...ouch...needless to say, I will be spending more time there in the future(even if it is an hour trip by DART).
Oh yeah, and I haven't slept since 4 PM yesterday...YAY INSOMNIA!
Hmmm...I have so many things that need to get done, including a nice nap before my choir practice tonight at 7:30, but I can't start any of them until the voice department head responds and lets me know whether I am ok for a new hearing time...
Blarg...
I should end on a positive note...
I think G# is a good one; what do you think?
