My new liking of tubing and speeding boats....

Went to a lake w/ friends of the family for their youngest daughter's birthday and got my first try at tubing behind a boat.
The man didn't go easy on us at all (course the fact that the wind was rather harsh when we decided to go didn't help any), but I'm glad cause when I finally did come off I (literally) rolled on top of the water four times before I actually fell in.
IT WAS GREAT!
Then, of course, came the task of getting back on the bugger (referring to the tube thing) a second time, which I might add it quite difficult and amusing to watch. I was rip roaring and ready to go a second time until it took all of my energy to get back on the thing...-_- After that my arms were definitely tired, but alas I chose to go again and this time I actually stayed on when he tried to sling shot me around a turn, but ended up coming off a little while after that due to my sliding back and not being able to recover. A couple of hours later we went again, this time the wind had died down some and the ride was much smoother.
As I recall, the first time Jordan went out he got about four feet of air and face planted the water after hitting one rather lumpy patch of current.
Heehee... It was glorious.
Even though it was rather windy that day, it was a hot wind and everyone got lovely sunburns... aside from me of course. Heh, I never even put sunblock on my legs and I was continually in the sun the whole day, not that I had much choice either way since the only form of shade to be had where we were was the Kavana that the wind kept trying to tear down. (It succeeded a couple of times.)
Though I may not have gotten a sunburn like everyone else I do believe that I ended up pulling a muscle in my neck due to straining to keep my face from beating against the tube... leaving me in a rather uncomfortable circumstance at the moment and it doesn't help that my shoulders are still slightly sore.
I can only imagine the upper body strength one could accomplish from tubing every day.
Oh well, it was an awesome experience and I even got a rather nice tan!!!_^!!

On another note:
I saw One Night With The King the other day and I must say, It was a surprisingly good watch. The way Hadassah speaks reminds me of the way Elizabeth speaks in Pride & Prejudice. Now, I've never held much iterest in these types of movies, but I did enjoy these two.
Currently I am in the midst of watching Undisputed II and the opening fight scene was awesome! The control shown in the execution of all of the moves was brilliant.
