Loki Clan Wolf Refuge
Went to the Loki Clan Wolf Refuge yesterday and did quite a bit of manual labor. Luckly for me, it is work I'm used to. We were clearing a lot for a new pen by taking down trees and clearing brush, it was rather fun though and I got quite a few pictures.
Speaking of, here are the Loki Clan Wolf Refuge (10/14/06) Pictures:

All of these pictures were taken by me except for the last one (the one with the three wolves in and on the shelter things), which was taken by Shay (a fellow college student who went too). I took these with my camcorder that is capable of taking snap shots; it was also my first time using it, and with these results I've decided that I REALLY like my camcorder and it was definitly a worth while buy.
At the Refuge they also had chickens everywhere and they were, interestingly enough, not afraid of us or the wolves... if anything it seemed that they were teasing the poor guys. Actiong all tough because there is a fence between them.... how rude. LoL We also ran into a pet rabbit that was turned loose sometime and never left, wish I took a picture of him, but we were working at the time. We also saw a chipmuck that was living, it seemed, with the rabbit. Ugh, I really wish I took picuters! LoL Oh well, I don't think that I'll be forgetting this adventure anytime soon. OH, forgot to mention that we camped there in tents and we awoke that morning to a freeze... -_- no wonder we were cold.
Due to not wanting to camp out in the freezing night, again, we came back Saturday night instead of Sunday morning.
Oh, they also gave us a t-shirt as a surprise for volunteering, which was a nice surprise. Hope I can go back sometime and volunteer again!
