[Log] In which we learn something-or-other about trying to do surprises

When: Saturday afternoon sometime
What: A surprise visit--sidetracked
Summary: Antonio tries to visit his dearest cousin Leticia but ends up knocking at someone else's door instead.
Why he was humming the theme to The Andy Griffith Show, Antonio had no idea. He had a sneaking suspicion that there were re-runs playing after he dozed off in front of the television late last night. That meant he had forgotten to set his alarm clock which meant he didn't get up early enough to go see if he could drag Leticia out to lunch. He still figured late was better than never. They could have...lunner--which really didn't have the same ring as brunch.
He hopped on the subway, riding it to where he was pretty sure Leti lived, Mani In Alto. (Antonio hadn't asked outright if he could visit; it was supposed to be a surprise. He'd had to ask sneaky questions to try to get the apartment out of her instead.) The security station buzzed him into the building though the guard had to pat him down since he couldn't really call Leti's room to check that Antonio wasn't a suspicious person without ruining the surprise.
Waving to the security guard, he went into the elevator. Floor 15, to the top! Once there, he stared at the numbers on the doors. Was Leti's apartment on the fifteenth floor? Now he was having second thoughts. This building was much nicer than his own, too, and he wasn't sure he wanted to go knocking on some random person's door.
Antonio took a deep breath. Never knew until you tried! He was pretty sure Leti was in this room: 1506.
