When: Sometime during Yong-soo’s third week of work and Yao’s first
What: Two brothers finally meet face to face in a surprising fashion.
Summary: Yong-soo goes to Advertising to drop off some records he’d borrowed to finish his data base work, hardly thinking to meet a face from his past…
Yong-soo sang very softly under his breath as he exited the elevator to enter the Advertising department. He still wore his pearl gray suit jacket, his tie retightened around his neck.
“Don’t hate us ‘cause we’re happy/ don’t hate us ‘cause we’re beautiful…”
He made sure to sing very softly because he knew that he didn’t have the greatest of voices (he’d nearly gotten chased out of the music room at school with a ruler by the choir teacher several times). But he liked singing. It relaxed him. He made up for lack of real range with something like exuberance. And a pretty reasonable memory for lyrics.
Heading over to the receptionist’s desk, he set the manila folders under his arms onto an empty spot, looking around. Hm. Where was everyone? At the same time, he found himself also hunting for any signs of the rather… eccentric Director of Advertising.
