Time: Present
Question For: All Nations

Question: It's about 3 AM and you wake up to the sound of a child crying. Tired and obviously not thinking straight, you go to investigate and open your front door only to find that your closest ally has somehow been reverted back into a child looking to be about 2 to 3 years old and then left on your door ( Read more... )

Q1: Ah--that...really brings back memories. I raised Iceland once, I can do it again. I won't hand him over to Denmark this time.

Q2: ... [ blinks ]

Q1: Would you try to find out how to fix the problem or just raise him again until he turned back natually? What if the child was Denmark rather than Iceland?

Q2: *Cocks head to the side in question* Hm?

Q1: Mm, I'll find out what the cause behind this mysterious occurrence is. The truth would definitely affect my next course of action. In the meantime, I'll raise him to the best of my ability... Fishing. Skiing. Snowball fights. Norwegian vikings are widely celebrated in Icelandic sagas, so there are plenty of stories that I can narrate... Denmark is not my closest ally, you know.

Q2:I-I have no idea. I'll leave everything in Iceland's hands. I know I can trust him.

[ ooc; Correct me if I'm wrong, but after a little wiki-ing on the topic of alliances, looks like modern alliances are actually memberships in organizations like NATO or the EU. It's therefore quite difficult to point out who a nation's closest alliance is...as such, I've been going with character relationships rather than official alliances. I hope that's fine. D: ]

Q1: Mm, seeing as you've raised him before, I have no doubts that you'll be fine, but is there anyone you'd want to help you raise him? You sound like you'd be a very fun parent. Oh I know! I'm just curious to what you would do if he turned up as an innocent little child on your doorstep.

Q2: But you most likely wouldn't know him, and therefore couldn't know if he were trust worthy or not.

[[Oh no, that's perfectly fine! Actually that's part of the reason that I was dubious about posting this question; it's hard to tell who's whom's closest ally. I was just kinda hoping the nations would either be ambigous or do what you have, and so far they're all answering with little problems it seems.]]

Q1: ...I can raise Iceland by myself just fine, though I would probably need help in tracking down the culprit behind this bizarre happening. Do you have anyone I should raise him with in mind? ...kill him.

Q2: I'll come to learn of that fact, then. Even if I know nothing about Iceland, Iceland knows who I am and I have no doubt that I am in good hands.

Q1: Anyone in mind? No, not really actually, I was just wondering if you did. *Actually shocked* You'd kill a innocent child who had no idea who you are nor what he would later do? That's cruel, do you think? It's like killing a puppy just because you know that later in life it'll bite you on the hand one day as you tried to feed it...

Q2: Mm, that make sense. Thank you!

Q1: Mm, no, not really.

Is that so. What would you recommend me do, then?

Take him to someone else's house and leave him there? Find a pack of wolves/bears and let them take him in? Scream in horror and leave him on the porch? Yell at him to get off your lawn and go back home? There are more ways of getting rid him than just killing the poor guy as a defenseless child.

Troublesome. Why should I go through such pains for Denmark?

Because he's a tiny toddler who's helpless, scared, confused, and probably freezing cold?

Whose name happens to be Denmark.

Who has no knowledge of what he has done to you and is crying and in need of help.

... ...

I-I suppose that is a little unfair...

Then again, this is Denmark we're talking about...

Yes Denmark, who is currently a crying three-year-old who has been left in the snow with few memories and no food, water, or a means to defend himself from either the weather or predators.

Not kill him? Admit you care enough about him not to abandon or neglect him in his most vulnerable state?
