I see Russia to be a... ahhh, very admirable person and while the... idea... of becoming one with him isn't... hmmn.

I value my independence as I paid a very heavy price for it... however, I will admit that becoming one with Russia is a much more... appealing option than other options such as becoming one with America. [calm smile.]

No country would like to give up its independence... My people have fought for independence for so long and we have finally obtained it, so I would not give it up on a whim. But if there was a need to become one with Russia... hmmn. It's a little difficult to put into words... I prize my independence, but I also owe a lot of Russia for what he has done for me in the past.

... So while I do not think becoming one with Russia is the end of the world, I would still like to be an independent nation. [sitting on the fence.]
