Question 1 - Some Nation-tan is throwing a costume ball (could be a Holiday party, or not, just need the participants to wear an outfit of any sort). W-whattt woul-ld you l-l-l-l-likely wear? 1b) And would you try to match with someone?
Question 2 - 2a) Who is the one throwing the party? (Up to 3 choices) 2b) Um, um, um Is th-there s-ss-sssomeone--if they threw the party!--that you... you would refuse t-to go, ifff they hos-sted the event? (Again, up to three choices) Um, just if t-they hosted... nnnnonot if they ha-ha-happened to b-b-b-bbbe there, because, um um, you could h-hide if they w-w-weren’t the host...
Um, um, um er, t-that is... since... since mmy understanding of... other cultures is horribly limited *tears come to her eyes*, if it’s n-not too much of a bother.... if... if you could, um mmmaybe provide r-references for... for some of t-the mmmore obscure folklore traditions if they influence-your-costume-choices? Um please? *shakes again*

Edit: Dark!Lynn: Since the point has been brought up... There is 'no theme' to the hypothetical party. It is, quite literally 'anything goes---SAVE OUT-RIGHT NUDITY!' *Chuckles* I think we know who needed that stipulation.
Still! That one point aside, the costumes have infinite range/possibility. They may be from any culture--historical, counter, popular, your own national heritage, or another's, etc. They may be for fiction--favored heroes, favored villains, favored jack-of-all-trades, so forth. They may come from legend--Gods, Goddesses, folklore, monsters, spirits, things not of this Earth, whatever.
Essentially.... if you can imagine it, you may dress as it. But.... for some of the more out there ideas.... that's where we please ask that you provide at least an idea of where to look for references.
And once again, thank you to all the busy Nations who take time out of their lives to answer these trifling queries.
