Question For: It's speculative so all nations
Question: Okay, let's just say, hypothetically speaking: A former colony-country (like America) would re-unite with its original country (like Great Britain). What would cause a former colony-country to do such a thing after all the people that have fought and died to make it independent?

Occasionally, countries do resolve their differences and work closely enough to the point where they're willing to have joint rule. Times and circumstances change and occasionally, countries learn a thing or two about how to handle such things, so it is not completely unheard of, and it does not mean that the former colony will return to being ruled by the country that formerly ruled it. For instance, if and when such an empire were to take place, I would not rule over America like I did when he was a colony; he and I would be on equal terms. However, it is important that both countries consent to it -- not like certain OTHER countries (such as Russia) who merely want to annex other nations against their will. Their deaths would still not be in vain, as the circumstances of the joint empire would be considerably different from a nation-colony relationship.
