Number two: If they didn't, there would be way to many, they would over populate and starve to death.
Number three: Its like eating beef. People use almost every part of the seal.
Number four: Seals aren't endangered.
Number five: Listening to propaganda isn't cool! PETA doesn't ever tell the other side of the story.
Number six: They only use one hit to the head (Not on the spike side either), which instantly kills the animal by crushing the skull. (Most animals are less humanely slaughtered).
Number seven (And most important): You shouldn't just not kill seals because they are cute. I mean, common. That's being animal racist. =(
Sorry I watched a documentary about this today and did some research. Plus, I am Canadian! I like seals too, but I don't trust PETA.
Look at things objectively from all points of view and you will get a more accurate portrayal. =)=)
