I keep finding a bizarre dish that Scotland always seems to leave in the refrigerator whenever he raids it. He calls it haggis, but we all know that it's the heart, liver and lungs of a sheep boiled in its own stomach. However, I guess it's not terribly strange, as faggots are made from similar ingredients.

I suppose many people find black pudding a bit unusual as well.

I still say it's far better than France and his snails.

Hmmm, I don't think they sound that bad, aru. I make some of my dishes from different kids of animals, but the recipe is similar, aru.

I'm glad you at least don't see them as bizarre or bad unlike most people.

Hột vịt lộn (fertilized duck egg with a nearly developed embryo) is something that seems to unnerve people, as well as dishes that use cat meat and dog meat...

... Then there is always Bird's Nest Soup... mmn, part of your cuisine, but is eaten at my house as well...

... Ah, it's difficult finding something you would find bizarre--our food cultures are not very different, and many of the delicacies that are considered "unusual" and "strange" by others in my homeland are considered delicacies in your house as well.

Most of our food is the same, aru. It's the Westerners that consider them "taboo", aru.

I-I don't think it's strange, but America didn't want to try curdled milk, so...

Um, pig head or pig snout is also traditional at Christmas...

W-well, while I am not allowed to each such foods, I have seen others eat Sheep blood soup, fried sheep lung, roast sheep intestine, and sheep feet.

And there is also the more normal yak meat, yak milk yogurt, and yak milk tea!

However, none of these foods seem to appease the tourists...

Well, it was a pretty big place, and there must have been a lot of unusual things eaten everywhere. Romans, however, liked to eat snails and shellfish. We also actually bred dormice to eat, and fermented sauce made from fish intestines, called garum, was a very popular condiment.

A true feast was always such an elaborate affair. . .ah, I miss them.
