Time: Present For: All nations, dead or alive. (really curious of Russia's answer) Question: Who was your favorite boss and what did he/she/they do? (forgive me if this was already done.)
When it comes to the King(s) of the Belgians, I would definitely have to say King Albert I.
Much of his efforts during the first World War was greatly out of concern for the nation, or for his people's best interest. Germany had was being quite the bully and eventually we were forced into a horrible state. We had lost much of our army, too, over time. King Albert continued to fight, and try to make peace with Germany. Though the peace talks failed, the King remained hopeful. With some help from UK and France, we were able to be freed of German occupation near the end of the war. Afterward, the he spent much of his time with the post-war reconstruction of our nation, among other things for the Belgian people.
Casimir the Great was like, way cool and he's the only king that Polish history calls "great." When he became king things were kind of... like, bad. Poland was like, small and the economy was bad because of wars. Casimir made us fight a lot of wars too but like, when he was done, Poland was twice as big and everyone totally respected us. And while like, everyone else was totally bullying the Jews, he was totally cool with them and protected them while they were in Poland. King Sobieski was also totally cool~
OLD FRITZ! He was awesome! He was a philosopher king you know! He also made me into one of Europe's great powers.. even though I was the smallest that WAS STILL SOMETHING FOR ONE MAN TO DO! I MEAN!!..Before him.. I was kind of a backwater nation you know?
He also helped me get Silesia. Not to mention he gave me so many new songs for the flute! YOU THOUGHT AUSTRIA WAS THE ONLY MUSICALLY TALENTED ONE!? Fritz wrote over 100 songs for the flute. Fritz was such a creative genius~. GOTT!! He was so great that Napoleon paid him homage! NAPOLEON! And said he was a tactical GENIUS. Fritz was tolerant of religions and rather lenient on other cultures as well. He also built several buildings; Berlin State Opera, the Royal Library, St. Hedwig's Cathedral, and Prince Henry's Palace.
King István the First (also known as Saint István) was the first Hungarian king, also the one who introduced Christian religion here, thus he stabilized the position of our country in the early eleventh century. Without him, our nation would be nowhere by now! My current boss could study from him...
While he did make some choices, that in retrospect, were not the best decisions--Otto von Bismarck was one of my best bosses. He was the first Chancellor and he was able to help me be on par with the rest of the world.
