Fall
Life with 2 little boys is non stop..i am always feeding someone, wiping a nose, or cleaning up something..and in between..i try to find time to do everything else lol
Emmitt is now 5 months and 2 weeks..he is growing by leaps and bounds now..he has found his toes and will hold on to them it in his bouncing chair while he rocks ..he has learned to hold on to whatever comes near his grasp..rattles beware! and he is a laugher and constant talker..he loves the sound of his voice and how he can change it, and he is tickleish too ;)
He has no interest in being the little one, he wants to be apart of whatever is happening in the house, he is so ambitious..
Gaston is Mr. Big Brother..he loves to play with Emmitt, and he loves to entertain him..If the baby is crying and i am trying to make dinner or my hands are full, Gaston runs to comfort and sooth him with a song or dance..he is also just about fully potty trained too, once he got the hang of it that was that..he is 3 years and 3 months now... Gaston is smart as a whip, quick thinking, and has the memory of an elephant..dont try and pull a fast one on him, you won't succeed..also the naked booty shake has become a permenant fixture after or before bath time..and all of a sudden he now loves his green peas?!
Halloween is almost here, we spent the afternoon yesterday picking out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, and then carved them into the best jackolaterns yet..gaston got to color his and Emmitts..
This year Gaston decided and told me at least once a week since early summer that he wanted to be a yellow T-rex with stripes and a big tail..and believe it or not that is what i found..they were selling it online...i couldnt believe it,i typed in the discription and boom..gaston is stoked..Mr Emmitt will be my stroller date for the evening as a pumpkin..Gaston wore it 3 years ago..i love photographing them in the same clothes and looking at their differences and similarities..also kind of helps me hold on to the baby in Gaston just a little longer...Aubry and Grey are coming over again this year for pizza and trick or treating..I am hoping this become a constant in our holiday celebration..it is so much fun to see all three of them ( soon to be 5 of them buy i will get to that) running down the road in search of candy!
Now to the big big news..My Brother Ben just had his first little boy, Benjamin Jr..Lindsey his wife was a champ in the delivery room..baby benjamin wieighed in at 8 pounds and 22 inches long! he was huge! Emmitt was 19.75 inches long and that was bigger than Gaston..where was she keeping him?? she was so tiny when she was pregnant..
All in all everything is going well, busy, loud, crazy, messy, and wonderful..
