Look at me go!
Heather showed me a show called Invader Zim which has the most awesome robot in it. The robot's name is GIR and the title of the entry is a quote from him. Yeah, anything else would have been too serious.
Since my last entry, I'm now dating a guy named Matt, whom most of my friends have never met. Yes, he is 28, and no, he is not in college. Care to learn more? We should hang out. Yeah, I'm bribing the people who know me to hang out with me, but only because I love you guys.
This semester is over as of the most recent Tuesday, but I've been going non-stop for a while now even without classes. I didn't fail this semester, even though I was really concerned about ECE435, Analog Control Systems. Grades ended as follows:
ECE403 [Op-Amp Funland by means of Transistors]: A-
ECE435 [Analog Control Systems of Doom]: B-
ECE492R [Analog Design Every Hour You're Not In Class]: A+
ENG331 [Engineers Must Learn to Write]: A
PE109 [Step Aerobics]: S (I got a 98, I should have taken this class for a grade)
This made my GPA high enough to maintain my Dean's List standing for the 5th running semester. Plus, my in major GPA went up too! Yippee!
Here's the big news flash... I'm not going to be in the United States for practically any of the summer. Here's where I will be:
May 25th - July 7th: Studying Abroad in Peru
July 19thish - July 23rdish:Family vacation to Spain
July 23rd - August 10th: Wandering from Italy to Sweden with Jeremy
August 11th - August 18th: Helping doctors in Nicaragua
Okay, so some of those dates may not be exact, but they're close enough for now. As you can tell, I leave in a few weeks, have one week here in the middle, and then I have four days before school starts! We'll see how crazed I can get.
This evening I'm supposed to see Meg, that should be nice. I had lunch with Britton today. Hmm, this week has been a week of seeing people. Monday took Heather to Virginia, Tuesday came back and had an ECE Lunch Team party, Wednesday had dinner with Zack, Thursday dinner and movies with Anton, Friday lunch with Alex and dinner with Matt's family for the first time and then we're to today. It's been crazy. I've not unpacked my stuff yet, and that's bad. I also need to get my mom something for mother's day...
I guess I'll be off, we'll see if I can't find a nice something for my mommy.
