Hii guys, long time no hear. During my absence Wild*Hope scans took up HGM, good for you because you got HQ, quick and often releases :) However there's no vol.4 in japanese posted on the Internet and I couldn't find any information on Wild*Hope if they got their volume to scan or not so while waiting for next chapters I decided to write summaries of vol.4 chapters.

Obviously post below contains lots of spoilers! And few more things before:
1stly: I'm sorry for any mistakes in my English.
2ndly: It's the first time I write a summary, I feel better with typing translation but since HGM is other group's project now and is licensed anyway I'd like to avoid anyone using other ppl's scans and translation. That's why I decided on writing summary instead.
3rdly: Sorry it's SO long! D: I wanted to make everything clear as much as possible. If you want me to write much shorter summaries though and feel troubled with such length please let me know in comments.
Now, here's where you can find scans of vol.4, in korean though: (if you know any other links let me know! I was surprised to find that there's so few chapters posted, to 16th max, on chinese sites o_o)

Houou Gakuen Misoragumi ch.18 summary

On the 1st page we see a drawing made by little Yui, it's his dad as doctor, him as nurse and a sick patient on the bed. Drawing's all torn. Narration (Yui): The first time I met Kei-chan was on early summer, I was about to enter primary school.
Little Yuli is making holes in drawing (this one from cover ofc) with scissors. Nurses run towards him, saying everyone's looking for him. Yui glance at them with creepy dark eyes, holding firmly scissors, nurses are obviously scared. They say his father is going to scold him so he should stop but Yui doesn't want to. Little Kei is passing by and hear their conversation, she takes Yui's picture and hold it above her head. "Kei-chan understands! Look, stars! You drew stars, right?" She smiles at Yui, which makes him blush. Then Kei grabs his hand saying they should play and they walk away while nurses chat who this new kid actually could be, maybe Yui's friend. Narration: I thought "she's strange." But I had no bad feelings about her.
Little Kei-chan says her dad is being hospitalised here and ask what about Yui. He says his dad is a doctor so Yui comes to see how he works. Kei finds it awesome but Yui disagree about it. Kei asks him to show her this drawing from before, Yui tries to stop her but Kei says she understands, this is drawing of Yui and his father. Yui is all surprised while Kei continue: "Yui wants to become a male nurse and works together with his father. Kei-chan likes this drawing. But why did you made holes in it?" Yui strongly blush. He replies that his father disagree (or dislike) [to the idea] so that's why. Kei doesn't understand what he means because she finds it awesome (the pic and idea I think). Yui hands drawing to Kei and aks if she wants it, because he doesn't need it anymore, doesn't want to look at it. Meanwhile Yui's father asks if Yui went back home, nurse tell him he went out with a friend. "A friend? Ha... this kid [Yui] will be under bad influence..."

Back to this two, nurse scold them saying they shouldn't lay on patient's bed, it's not a place to play. They apologize saying they won't be hopping anymore but soon Kei laughs that nurse got mad at them. Kei asks Yui again if he wants to be a nurse and help his father, he says yes although he hates his father. Kei's surprised. Yui asks who she wants to become. "Hmm... Right! Kei-chan will become Yui-kun's friend so that Yui-kun will never have to play alone again." They make a pinky promise but suddenly comes Kei's father and pull bedclothe off them, asking what Kei-chan's doing and who's the other kid. She says "no one" and runs away with Yui. Soon Yui is out of breath and ask Kei to stop, she asks if his body isn't strong but he just says he wants to be like Kei-chan. (Awww poor fragile Yui, but he's soo cute as kid *^* and Kei sure was tomboyish from the very beginning XD). Kei reassure him saying he'll be alright, he's a boy after all so he'll become much stronger then her.
Later on nurses gossip that Yui came alone again, the poor thing doesn't have mother, his dad is worried to entrust him even to nurses. Kei's dad noticed Yui standing alone in the hall, ask him if he would go with him while he waits for Kei-chan to come.
Dad asks if Yui's father is Yajin-sensei and he heard other says he's a very skilled doctor, which must be awesome [to have such dad]. Yui says it's not awesome at all, he hates him and is always left alone. Kei's dad grabs little Yui and lay him on his laps, asking if he won't tell him why he thinks this way. Little Yui explains that it's all because of "that person". That person (I think, or was it Yui? x_x) cried after divorce but in front of people he was calm and collected, called to him "Yui-kun" but somehow he didn't see little Yui at all. He read books about upbringing children but didn't know what to talk with Yui about, when he cought a cold he didn't drink medicine. Yui understand he has work to do but that's not it, he wanted to go with his mom (and here I thought she died o.o) but he didn't because that person didn't let him to. That's why he's alone.
Kei's dad narration: It's the first time I met someone saying such things. Lonely... so lonely...
Yui's narration: That person listened to my feelings. That's because he's Kei-chan's father. I drew a picture for my dad but he hated it.
Flashback: Yui brings the picture [the one on the cover] to his dad, but Yajin-sensei says "Stop it. (bothering him) To dad not only Yui-kun exist." Everyone thought it was a picture of dad doctor and mum nurse but Yui didn't say it wasn't his mother. The Kei-chan who he met for the first time understood right away. (That it's him as nurse.) End of flashback, we're back to Yui and Kei's father who says it's not right for such a small child to have to grow up quickly . Kei comes and is surprised what happened, why Yui-kun's crying but Yui of course denies it. Kei tells her dad what happened today (someone brought dog to her classroom, she got scarred). Meanwhile Yui thinks how nice it must be to be Kei-chan, she can talk about anything with her dad. He remembers being told he's pitful but he strongly denies it, he's not pitful at all. Then we see Yui and Kei went outside. Kei says she came late today so she can't play for long and that she brought paper for sketches and crayons. Yui thinks Kei-chan have it nice, when she finds something fun she becomes good at it [or seems to be good at it in other people eyes, I'm not sure]. She can run fast, have a kind father who's kind even to Yui. "Sly... Kei-chan is sly." Yui stays silent so Kei asks him what's wrong, why isn't he drawing. She says she overheard his and her dad conversation and that it's alright, she's sure if Yui talks with his father his dad will be able to understand him. Before she gets to say anything more Yui becomes angry. He says that Kei-chan also thinks Yui's pitful, he wants his dad to quit being a doctor and he hates his father. Kei says with serious look that Yui can't speak such things which gets him to be even more angry. Yui thinks: 'What do you know, you who have everything I want." And he slaps Kei.

They're both shock at his action, Kei shouts she hates Yui a lot and leave crying. Yui isn't able to say it's not what he meant to do and ask Kei-chan to wait.
It's already night, Yui's dad ask him what happened, he should be sleeping already. Sad Yui says he quarrelled with a friend today, he punch her so he's a bad child. Yajin-sensei's surprised to hear that but says that Yui is a good child, he said such thing only to protect his friend. Yui says he got it wrong, Kei-chan isn't a bad person, it's his fault. Dr. Yajin says that dad believes in Yui-kun which leaves Yui with shocked/scared expression.
Yui's back to bed, he thinks about what his dad said: "You're not a bad child. ; I'll always listen to you. ; Don't cause problems. ; I'll love you instead of your mother."
Yui thinks that father believes not in him but in that "Yui-kun" and that he's becoming slowly a bad child. He then looks at stars and think how pretty they are, like a holes in black which got him to remember Kei's words: "Kei-chan will for sure become Yui-kun's friend." He decided to apologise next day. He waited in the hall and waited, wrote on the floor "I hate you a lot" few times and gave up. "Tomorrow".
Already one week passed. He finally got enough courage to visit Kei's dad but noticed his surname isn't listed on the door anymore. Nurse says that his friend's dad already left hospital. Yui clings to his sketchbook and thinks 'It's alright, Kei-chan drew me before a map and where her house is." He finds the drawing in his sketchbook, compare it with real map and gives it to driver who says he knows where it is. Driver's surprised such a small boy's alone but Yui says he has money XD "This time I'll meet Kei-chan." But it appears Kei-chan was no longer in that apartment, person living there told Yui that Saeba family moved out. That happened on a hot day.
Now we see Saeba family, Kei's mom's happy about moving to a new place, she always dreamed about such house, dad complains it was rather sudden but she says that they just had to move out today since dad left hospital already. Kei is all gloomy though. Her dad says he saw from hospital she quarrelled with a kid and too bad that they couldn't make up before they moved out but Kei says it wasn't a quarrel. He than assure her it must be tough for Yui as well, Kei should write him a letter so they could make up. Kei says that watching TV comes first, she'll write a letter but later.
On last page we see Yui standing alone, narration: "Kei-chan's no longer here, she hates me. But I like her a lot, so I want to punch her...". END

Strange ending is strange :P But now we at least know why Yui said he hates Kei in last chapter \o/ She moved out without saying goodbye, her last words to Yui were "I hate you a lot", she didn't contacted him either and even forgot about Yui with time, bad Kei XD Poor Yui, he didn't had it easy from the very beginning. But I always thought his father was more strict rather then spoiling his child, though of course with him being this busy and Yui not having mother or friends to play with meanwhile he got all lonely and scarred of "Yui-kun" his dad believed him to be (aka good child) so Yui got to eventually hate his father anyway. It's sad they got to misunderstood each other and never talked things out properly but I'm glad it's this way instead of any huge drama.
Although "being childhood friends" is such a common thing in shoujo (even forgetting they knew each other) somehow I love it's like this in HGM. Not only because we got to see a lot of cute little Yui XD;; but I'm glad they got such beginning or else Yui would never like Kei the way she is, without knowing the real her. I like how Kei was tomboyish in childhood as well <3

Credits for scans goes to Hanfile.
