Public economics is in about two hours and I'm a little nervous about it (mostly the multiple choice section) but I think I should be fine. I sacrificed all of my hobbies (of which I admittedly don't have many, mostly reading. I haven't read a word in October!) for this, so it better be worth it.
Oncw this is over, I have a little over a week to do nothing but read and hang out and stuff whih will be nice because I had zero vacation over this really long summer break with studying and term papers and everything.
I'm drivin up to visit my mom and dad on Sunday. My mom has been in Brazil since I want to say mid-August and came back on Monday, so it's time to go up for a few days, probably until Thursday morning. My subtitling class starts on Thursday evening iirc. We're going to subtitle an Australian movie called Wake in Fright and it's going to be shown in Konstanz's more artsy cinema sometime in January which is pretty cool. And my regular classes start the Monday after that. I'm really excited as I have been since late July when I made my schedule. I still need to figure out if my last term paper in Febuary is going to be about serial killers or Asian-American women's writing. I was pretty sure it was going to be the serial killers but the books I read for that weren't as fun as I thought they'd be and the readings for the other class have all been sooo good. I need to talk to Mrs. G and Mrs. B about it and start figuring out all the stuff I need to do to sign up for the BA thesis.
On a much less fun note, my laptop's keyboard is broken. Several keys have stopped working, among them the space bar. This makes writing impossible, so no consistent writing for me this month. I still have have about nine months warranty left, so I have to send it in to amazon or Acer to get that fixed because it's the most annoying thing ever. This means I'm probably signing up to start (re)writing the BA thesis in December, give it some time to get the laptop fixed. Still, no NaNo for me.
