So I just got back from Church and I think I found a BR church I don't mind. I've tried the two Catholics and a Lutheran now and I haven't been satisfied. I was raised Catholic and I love my church back home (well did, we have a new priest who I don't particularly care for, but its a longer story than I plan on writing). So I decided to go diet. Sara, Val and I walked to the Episcopal church two streets down. First off the church is gorgeous inside. I was blown away that this little church in BR could be so pretty. Dark wool and a traditional yet welcoming atmosphere. Its worth seeing even if you are not religious (mind you St. Mary's in BR is worth a visit too if you wanna see abstract stained glass and a weird gigantic crown thing hanging form the ceiling). So we sat through the simple and nice service and listened to a sermon by a new pastor (he's the husband of the women's basketball coach) who was kinda cute in an odd way. Dean Mathison sat behind us in church and said hi (he recognized me!) Now I know he is not everyone's favorite person but when we went into the annex for some coffe afterwards about 5 people came to our table and all opened with, "So Ian tells us you're in Pharmacy!" It was kinda sweet. The older people were really nice and I didn't get annoyed or bored which says a lot about the older people. We went to the 8am service so there were very few people there but it was still very homey. I will definitely go again and I cannot wait to see what it looks like around Christmas. It has to be wonderful inside.
Oh and on a completely different topic I was looking at soundtracks and I want to get "No Reservations" but I only want a few songs from it. Alas its not on iTunes but I think I can find most of the songs other places. One of which is Sway by Michael Buble. The song itself is an older song but it's very sexy, I would love to dance to it with some hot something or other.
Okay well I am going to the gym in a few then spending the day at the library. (I know! Gym on a Sunday? Well it is gay church after all...)
