TEXAS FRENCH
Well it's been a little eventful since my last posts. I have turned in my stories for the Prism and I am relatively satisfied with them. If you haven't read them, YOU'RE A BAD FRIEND! No just kidding, I know how crazy it gets, but if you get a chance take a peek at them and let me know, or get a hold of me and I will send you copies that are finished instead of these very nasty unedited ones.
In the fantasy story, Avery is Luir now and Nathin is Ami (with an accent above the A, but I have not the energy to find out how to do it on here)
Guess what everyone...I AM GOING BACK TO IRELAND!!!! July 16th I will be in my beautiful green country. I can't hardly stand it. And for you Harry Potthead fans out there like me, guess who will most likely be getting the UK version of The Deathly Hallows on July 21st...uh me.
In other news, we had another condo fiasco. Our renters decided to call us and let us know they sold the house and we can have our refund anytime. Yeah. F-ing nightmare. Well since plane tickets are generally not refundable we've been scrambling to find something and we might have. Hopefully by the beginning of next week we'll have another place that looks even better than the last. (The Renter's I am pretty sure are gay, so I feel much more confident renting from them than from some nasty old straight person again :)
I am going home next weekend to see a friend who's leaving for Orlando permanently. I'm pretty sad because I'd hoped to have a great summer with her. But I guess everyone's got to go forger their own path and I am happy for her and trying not to be sad for myself
Oh and I got nominated for secretary of ASHP today. I am running against someone else but she seems really nice so if I don't get it I won't be devastated by any stretch of the imagination. (An excellent example of my incredibly competitive nature right there. But if I had to compete for Ireland I'd be ruthless I think. It doesn't mean I don't care about ASHP, just that I think she will provide a decent office and we all need to get involved and support each other in pharmacy. If we didn't it'd be unbearable...)
