Today we read the book Digital Ground; the author had metioned that the world the the internet or the ditial world is created like the world's fair. In the sense that this computerized world is designed to work smothly and that you can walk through it virtualy and there are no snags, eveything is placed out there for you to see such as the design of the worlds fair. That is clearly untrue, well atleast it is for me a person who is far from computure literatite. I mean sometimes a session with the computer and myself resembles a scene that scene out of zoolander. However if this digtial world is so clear and easy to navagate through then how come I can not find my way thorough it, I mean there is so much Smug on the in this cyber world that one can often find it hard to reach the one thing that they are looking for. Personal I dont think that this was the most intreasting part of this reading I found my self more intirgued by the idea tha the felt that we should stop looking at the world as though we are looking through a looking glass, but instead take the world out of the looking glass and bring it to ourselves. I think that is a profound idea, because often you tend to see people fallin or getting consumed by the this world instead and allowing themselves to be thrown into this world rather than taking this cyber world and throwing it into their everyday lives.
