Eventful Monday morn...
Well as Corch mentioned there was a bit of activity at the cave in the early hours this morning. I'm not going to elaborate because I'm sure you'll all know by the weekend anyway. The whole incident brought two things to my attention.
1. We are all so lucky to have friends who you can wake up at 4 in the morning and have by your side in a short space of time. Thanks Corch. Love you.
2. Some people are capable of nasty things beyond my comprehension. The ability of the human race to behave like complete fuckheads will always surprise me a little because I'm surrounded by so many brilliant people... obviously things that happen close to home are always going to have more of an impact as well.
Anyway we're all alright. I'm completely buggered cause I've been awake since 4ish. Thankfully I went to bed early last night.
Other than that I had a really great weekend. Got to see my nephew play soccer and win on Saturday and see quite a few peeps on Saturday/Sunday, and got to see Adam for longer than an hour, Yay! (he's on nightshift at the mo). Popped round to the asylum with Pam on Sunday night and said hello to the lovely Jane, Richard and Oli. Managed to catch Corch there for a bit too.
Quick question for all the cookers out there. Do you notice a big difference between fresh and powdered garlic? I'm sure fresh is better for you in terms of nutrients etc. but sometimes I just can't be assed chopping it up. The garlic crusher here is missing a vital part so today I was lazy and went the powder option.
Anyway, I need to collapse into bed.
