Here are some books I reckon you might like... I haven't read all of them because I'm not a big suspense reader, but I have it on good authority that they're worth a look :)
If you liked the Da Vinci Code try 'The Assassini' by Thomas Gifford
'The Day After Tomorrow' by Allan Folsom
'The Secret History' by Donna Tartt (I've read this one and I couldn't put it down, not so much action but really great suspenseful, slightly creepy story about a group of students).
I'll come up with some more soon... just about to wolf down dinner now, starving! :)
