Oh the pain of it all!!
My gums hurt!! There are two extremely rude teeth trying to push through them and it's driving me nuts. You know that kind of pain that isn't completely overpowering, it's just there, and after about 10 hours of it it really gets under your skin. Sigh, I think it may be time to bite the bullet and go to the dentist for the first time since god knows when.
I had a very cool weekend. Friday night me, Marta and Stew headed to Noise Bar to see Fractal. I had lots of fun and a good boogie even though Fractal wasn't as good as I thought he'd be. Headed back with Stew around 4ish and warmed up the bed until Adam came home from work at 6.20ish... fell into a semi methy sleep until I had to get up at ten and drive to Warburton to visit my sisters which was extremely hard to do given I was leaving a warm bed and an Adam behind. The visit was worth it though. Spent some quality family time with sisters, niece, nephews and Mum and Dad. Highlight was driving my niece from one of my sisters houses to the other and playing I spy. Lots of laughs. Laughing with a four year old is so much fun.
Got back to the cave around 3 and was able to jump back into bed as Adam was still snoozing yay! Eventually got up and had a lazy afternoon/evening before going to see V is for Vendetta with Adam, Corch and Twigz. I thought it was absolutely fantastic!! I didn't really know anything about it except that Hugo Weaving was in it and Nat Portman has a shaved head. Two perfectly brilliant reasons to see any film I think... particularly the Hugo one.
Got back to the cave to find a full house which was cool. Stayed up all night having chats with people. Snuck a bulb with Marta which led to a great conversation. Thanks Marta, you rock!! The night turned into day and I headed to bed once, got up and then went back again. Got up again and lolled about watching tv before Adam and I made the dreaded trip to Coles for food. Made delish veggie curry for tea and watched Donnie Brasco, a gangster movie with Johnny Depp and Al Pacino which was very good, before falling into bed again around 11.
And now it's time for painkillers and then the gym. Have a good week peoples!!
