Stay out, I'll stay in...
So, I haven't updated in a while...ish...so...
Things with the roommate are much better. I mean, it was inevitable, since we both like to do shots together in our kitchen at random (and sometimes unhealthy) times. I mean, thats not the only reason we became friends again, but definitely a good starting point.
Love life is weird. And by weird I mean I don't have one, hahaha. Oh well. I'm pretty much over that one girl. But now there's this girl who really likes me. But I dunno what I really want from her/with her...?
But, awesome news!!! So... I applied to two different conferences this semester, one just required an abstract, one required the whole paper... I gave them kinda the same paper (variations on the same paper, let's say)... AND I MOTHERFUCKING GOT INTO BOTH OF THEM!!! I rules. One is cool, but not a big deal... it's a bit of a more local conference, mostly people from the North Texas area (and many people from UNT specifically), but still cool. The other is being held in Oregon by one of the two major environmental philosophy groups in the U.S., and is actually kind of a big dealish, and I'm so stoked/nervous for it. But that is in June. So... yeah. I was so happy when I found out.
I think that is all with me. I should get back to preparing lecture notes of Leibniz - by the way, Leibniz is a philosopher who talks about monads (long story), but every time I read 'monad' I think 'gonad' and laugh a little. Immature, horribly immature, I know, I know, but that's me!
