This is a new juggling/music video project I recently completed. Stylistically, it's very similar to a juggling video I made about a year ago called "
Love, Hate, Life, Death, and Juggling", and is a bit of a sequel in that regard. I had been working on this video for almost a year, planing the sequences and movements, and am quite pleased with the way it came out.
I used a new video editing program on this called TrakAxPC Pro. Before, I always used Windows Movie Maker, but I can no longer deal with such limited options and the lag when I create videos. TrakAx is a good program to use, but not without it's faults. For example, when I went to convert this video into black and white using a monochrome setting of 100%, even though it came out in black and white, the hues were very washed out and the background had a sort of shimmering grain to it. So, (as odd as it sounds) I edited the entire program in TrakAx, rendered it in letterboxed HD, then imported it into Window's Movie Maker, added a grayscale effect to get a more crisp black and white color, then exported it again. Though ultimately, I think it looks pretty good.
The song is a track from my last album called "Roller Coaster of Life". I recorded a special vocal track for this video to better match the theme, so I guess I'll call the song "Roller Coaster of Life (Juggling is Life Version)"
Life is made up of various elements that are both physical and mental in nature, many of which have as complimentary opposites. It is the skillful manipulations of these opposites that create balance in one's existence. Juggling is life.
