Back in The Mit

Well, I tried, and I failed.  Though it's not a total loss; even though I wasn't able to get a job in Washington, I still had an amazing vacation there.

Went to Shambhala 2010, and it was great.  Awesome DJs, awesome people, awesome vibes.  I stayed up dancing all night several times, taught some juggling, hung out with some very cool people, and bought some cool Thai-fisherman pants.  Places like this get so intense at night you can feel the energy in the air, it's almost magical.

I stayed in Seattle for about a month afterward and did some fun things: visited Bruce Lee's grave, went to a juggling convention and show, busted moves at an old-school 80's goth club night (the scene out there is surprisingly small), explored Capital Hill, went to an art museum, hit up a hardstyle rave, and helped my friend re-roof his house.  I applied to a dozen marketing and business jobs, but didn't even get so much as an interview.  Oh well, I will try to keep a positive mindset and not let that factor diminish my trip.

Now that I'm back in Michigan, I guess I'll go back to practicing juggling tricks that no one appreciates, making weird music that no one likes, and sending out cover letters that no one reads.  Oh well.  At least I have the halloween season to look forward to.

Live in the moment.
