Mis. Update
- The company I've been working for part time has been satisfied with my performance thus far and has started paying me, as well as removing the "intern" label from my title. I am very pleased by this and am glad to have an income again.
- Oddly enough, around the same time I started getting paid through the company I am currently working for, I was contacted by another company about interviewing for a Marketing Manager position I had applied for some weeks earlier. I have an interview with them on Wednesday. I'm just sorta playin' this thing by ear, and am definitely keeping my options open. We'll see what happens.
- I finally bite the bullet and signed up for the extras casting talent agency's database that got me the Hilary Swank gig. I have received a few emails about upcoming projects, but it has been pretty sparse thus far and I am not attached to anything at the moment.
- As a part of this scaryman's ongoing assimilation into society, I have opened up my very own checking account. My goodness, what shocking developments of modern civilization and technology are next in the life of Nathan McScary? A cellular phone? An I-Pod? An I-Cellular-Pod-Phone? Who knows what terror awaits...
- I am finally starting to take my running somewhat seriously this season. There are a few races I have in mind as long as my knee holds up. Who knows, maybe this will be the summer that I finally tackle the dreaded 10K.
- Tomorrow is World Juggling Day. I am going to Monroe to an organized WJD party. I am looking forward to juggling my face off.
