last night, as i was falling asleep, i had a little shock like i haven't had in a while. it used to happen pretty often when i was younger, and when my dreams were more of a part of my daily life. for me, it's a sort of connection or weird sub-conscious control over my nervous system response. i used to wake up with a lingering intense pain throughout my body that would go away suddenly after about a second, and last night it felt exactly like an intense voltage drop between my finger (in my dream, reaching out grab something, like a doorhandle) and what ended up being my other forearm, just sitting there, minding its own business, and i wake up almost flying off my bed. there was even the quick sizzle of electrocution and the lingering numbness right around where lauron drew that anarchy tattoo, and it's still sort of weird this morning, but i guess it's weird most of the time now. it was just so weird and unprompted, like, picking up a pencil off my desk that for some reason is grounded and i'm a live wire. heh, i like the idea that i've got secret electricity powers, but it's more likely that i've got something weird going on in my head, or just finally having interesting dreams again. : ) that stuff used to freak me out, but its just so strange and less concrete than the other stuff with my body that's been bothering me lately, it's sort of fun by comparison : )

i wrote it down in what has become my dream journal thing, and it was good to look in it, because every time i dream and write it down in there, i forget the dream, and often even forget that i wrote it down, so i had fun reading back last night. maybe i'll post some of them tonight

that said, it's been a while since i was more tired than i was yesterday, and this weekend had its ups and downs, but the downs were all like "groan, i guess that's good" kind of things, and i feel great today, so yes. : )
