Bowling and Les Miserables
Tonight I went bowling (laser bowling) with DD, Kim, Dan,
Cindy, and Kristen. It was really nice
to hang out with them again. Good
people. I got a 144 and 115. Not too bad for not being able to see!
I’m currently in Les Miserables mode. Finished the novel on Monday. Absolutely loved it. Ken burned me a copy of the soundtrack. Listening to the entire thing today. It’s just as good as the novel. It’s unbelievable how merely listening to the soundtrack tells you basically the entire story. Now, Javert is my favorite character. “Stars” is without a doubt, the best song in the musical, and the closing is simply unbelievable.

The other lyric that has remained in my head since I’ve heard it is the very last line in “Valjean’s Soliloquy.”

Another story must begin
I want to see the musical performed now so badly. Brenna is going to try and get Mrs. Fisher to allow me to go on the French Club trip to see it performed at NJPAC. I hope, I hope, I hope. It’s my only opportunity to see it.
I’m going to see Guys and Dolls at DePaul High School tomorrow night. I’m really looking forward to seeing it; curious of seeing how they do it. I really hope it’s good, but then again, I really hope it’s not better than ours. If I think their Nathan is better, I’ll cry.
