of all my 2005 music, i have listened to every single song on Low's "The Great Destroyer" more than any other 2005 track. it's amazing. from listening to the opener Monkey 130 times... to hearing Broadway (So Many People) 84 times. Low just edged out the Platinum Pied Pipers who clocked in at 83 times with their jam Act Like You Know which features signature rhyming from James Yancey (Jay Dee / J Dilla / G.O.A.T)
Stats for "The Great Destroyer"
since the afternoon of January 28th 2005...
~ 5,524 --- minutes of total listening time
~ 766,080 --- minutes of total living time
~ 0.721% --- of my time spent listening
seems right.
back on March 2nd of 2005 i broke down the stats for my listening of Low's "The Curtain Hits the Cast". i actually had 7 journal posts that day. all amazing. anyway, i found that for owning that record around 2 years 3 months i had spent almost 0.6% of my time listening to it. having "The Great Destroyer" for only around 1 year 6 months, it makes sense that the percentage (0.721) would be higher.
