ER
I have been to the ER a couple of times before, but yesterday was quite a sight. I actually saw a patient being resuscitated on the operating table. I have no idea what equipment they used on the fella, but his entire torso literally flopped up, expanded and contracted. It was GROSS!!! Then later I saw this old man who looked like he might collapse from just trying to breathe. It was scary!!
I've newfound respect for the doctors & nurses who have to deal with such sights on a daily basis. Stomach churning. Really.
