Today I write to you in the weirdest mood ever... Feeling frustrated, nauseated, angry and strangely content about it all. Yeah, weird.
Anyways... Today I baked! I love baking but rarely do it cause our kitchen is crap, really small and crap. But I made ginger cookies and pumpkin scones and am stuffed silly on not eating any of them! I said it before about being weird.
In a crappy turn of events I was placed in a new job to start tomorrow... so I organised a replacement for my principal's assistant job, told everyone I was leaving, turned down 2 other jobs and then called the next day to confirm details and BAM! "No sorry, I decided to use a different girl." Well, fuck you lady and the horse you rode in on... no better yet, your horse can fuck you. Bitch whore from hell. So anyways, that means I am, once again on a desperate search for work. I have some interview's lined up so thats something...
I've decided to use the time in an effort to start swimming and working out again... Going to try a bunch of different gym's on those free trial things to see which one I like for when I actually have money to pay membership.
In surprising and awesome news I heard from Alaska guy Rob... The other chick he hired, he had to fire cause she was a lazy git. So he's on holidays now but says he will call in December to chat about it all and maybe I'll be able to start in the next year! I intend on completely missing Alaska winter (how dumb do you think I am?) and going over May/June which is the start of the season for him... but we shall see... I might think the whole thing is a crap shot and not want to go at all after I talk to him.
So, all the good shows are back baby!
Friday Night Lights - Oh Show, you are back and I have missed you! So while I am loving having you back, and loving Tyra's new hair and her friendship with Landry and your new credit sequence and Riggins whorishness and Matt's puppy eyes and Street's totally gay, but pretty awesome glasses and loving to hate the new coach and loving Our Coach and Mrs Coach and their awesome emotional range and their hair and the buggy baby and wanting to slap slutty Julie and still couldnt care less about Lyla or Smash, I am hating with a passion this whole 'kill the rapist and throw him off a bridge into a river and crap!' WTF is that Show? Huh? WHAT??
Dexter - Oh baby boy, you are BROKE! You let one go? You let one escape? Everyone seems to be a little bit broke, but Dexter, my poor baby, is broke and about to be severely fucked over... ALL THOSE BAGS!!! That's just excellent.
Moonlight - Eh, I watched the pilot and am so over it. It's way worse than Dresden Files, but at least that show new how to have fun.
Pushing Daisies - Eee! I have LOVE for this show... It's beautiful and trippy and funny and fantastical and just MADE of awesome. I adore the voice over, the actors, the photography, the style, the dialogue the EVERYTHING! This was a show I'd heard of vaguely before it started (I'm in Australia, so I'm not bombarded with advertising like you Yanks)... and I'm so glad I read other peoples blogs, in particular alethialia... Her pilot roundup thingy blog made me decide to watch... and YAY that I did! Its like a fairy tale of pretty things for my eyes and ears to delight in!
House - Only seen the first ep (Aust is getting it on a week or two delay, so I will watch on my snazzy laptop's digital tv receptor rather than download)... Anyways, I missed Chase, and Cameron in relation to Chase, I could care less about Foreman, but whatever... The first ep of the season and WILSON! Wilson was a real stand out for me. Also, Cuddy was hot and hilariously bad at not being able to help herself with her enabling House. I'm interested to see this "new team" and to see the others come back and the fun what will be had when they do.
Heroes - (As above with the timing for Oz tv) I've seen the first ep and it hasnt been a disapointment... The Butlers being all stilted and boring and NORMAL, and that stupid flying kid... come on, like anyone cares? Daddy working in the photocopy store was all kinds of greatness though! Peter's all naken and in IRELAND! Nathan is all beared and a drunken bum! Mama Petrelli is as evil as ever. Hiro has met his hero! And Kensei is an English RAKE! I am LOVING it! (I never watched Alias so I couldnt care about that connection but so far David Anders is brilliant). Sad Hiro's dad died... just when he was ready to know his son. And Ando! Hanging out with him, that was adorable. Parkman adopting the kid was interesting... I'd like to see where that goes. I cant remember where Mohinder was so I wont say anything.
Supernatural - New credits! I like them more than last seasons. But oh, what a disapointment the ep was... It was 5 days later from the second season... and it FELT like it... Like maybe if I hadnt seen the S2 final ep as some sort of cliff hanger I could have watched this like a normal ep and not expected a great deal. But then they went and introduced the 7 Deadly Sins and it was almost BORING! There's sooo much potential... They could have killed those fuckers off over a few eps, made them like, an short arc or something, but no. The only thing that saved this ep was Bobby and his cap and the scene between the boys at the end. I'm not sure what I think of the 2 new chicks... I didnt mind Tamara (but what a spastic way to say it) she was not too annoying, but I'm also not overly interested in knowing her story either. And the blond chick stalking Sammy, well, I'd like to know more about her, but mostly I'd like to see Dean smack her around a bit. But um, where was Ellen?
Chuck - Chuck? Eee! The girl? Eh. Morgan? Is going to get annoying. The Sister? Cute. Captain Awesome? I love the name and he's kinda adorable so far. Casey? OMFG I LOVE ADAM BALDWIN! I'm really enjoying this one lots so far... even drawing the paralels with...
Reaper - I totally should get married to Sock. I have much adoration for the giant dork. And dudes! Original Cindy is back! Being a bitch to my man, but its greatness, no really it is... They're so nasty to each other I really cant wait for them to start screwing again (and they will). So far the main guy is kinda bland to me... The Devil is hilariously awesome, the love interest played by that chick from Stick It is boring and I dont really like her in the nice girl role and I dont remember anyone else... Most of my time is spent laughing stupidly at something Sock has said or done...
Gossip Girl - Is rediculously juvenile trying to be grown up (just like kids that age) and I love it in all its trashy greatness. Most of all, I love Chuck and want to see him fuck Jenny blind and does anyone know any fanfic for that?
Bionic Woman - She whines far too much, but I love the blonde and will watch for her. And the asian guy, cause damn that man is all sorts of pretty.
Now, all I need is Jericho to come back and I will be the happiest girl in the whole wide world with broken fingers after typing this blog of DEATH.
