Got back a couple hours ago from the 2006 Oregon State Thespain Conference (in normal language, the state acting competition). It was a long and tiring adventure to say the least. We performed Urinetown, one last time, for close to 1000 enthusiastic high-schoolers, and I have no problems saying that it was the most amazing performance that I have

Yay for us! I agree, it was a mad ego-boosting experience, essentially walking around like a celebrity (even me! chorus girl, for crying out loud) for a day and getting umpteen standing ovations.

Yeah, I rode a high for a while after that show. Well done, Gideon/Nathaniel. You did deserve it!

P.S. The random "I LOVE YOU" was so beautiful. Those drama kids--as freaky and rabid as they are when all in one room together--just get it.
