Comment to 'Just got back home from hospital...' by televisionmouth

I've been too many times, twice due to 'fatal' Motocycle accidents that nearly killed me and seriously crippled me for life, once more for elective surgery to fuse most of the vertibrae in my neck , I now have eight screws and a large plate plus more metal in one arm wrist, they took one piece out after a while .

Before this I had left and right inguinal hernia surgeries and recurrences, the very first one was a total cockup and it ripped loose in post op, I bled all over the damn place, they eventually fixed it but I now have a scar under my skin that feels like a 3/4" bit of rope that's tender forevermore .

In the end though, I feel I was pretty well taken care of in that I didn't die ~ you'd be surprised to learn how many die in hospitals from simple errors .

Kaiser killed two of my work mates wives in post op mistakes .

I hope all here get well from whatever maladies they encounter .

(who's finally beginning to sell off the Motos, I plan to keep two and see if I'm still able to ride safely and pleasurably then decide on them)
