Hello all. Just droppin in to let you know that I have returned from my two week sojourn across the south island safely, no broken bones, giardia, possum maiming, stab wounds or raping were suffered throughout my travels. In fact, the last two weeks have been two of the absolute best of my life, one of those cliche "college student goes abroad and finds himself" experiences, and don't worry, i'll be transcribing the notes i kept throughout to this journal shortly, complete with pictures and all, so you'll get your chance to hear all about what a badass I am. It'll be like the Lewis and Clark journals, with a Fox attitude! For now, my room is in a shambles, my beard is enormous, I'm broke as hell and have to find 60 bucks for phone and electricity by the end of the week, and at the moment I can't even fathom the idea of going back to classes and schoowork.
