WOW, I think this is the first weekday I've had off in two weeks. I woke up early in hopes of calling the program chair of the criminal justice department and getting my classes set up....but apparently their secretary is on vacation and whenever I call, I can't get a hold of Karen. I need to specifically talk to Karen because she's the one that sets up all the internships. I went yesterday and checked with Bill, he told me I'm only missing one of the prerequisites to taking the internship...and that's some criminal law class...
And speaking of work, I'm starting to get irritated with the shit that they keep pulling on me. Like yesterday, they had me work from 9-10Am then take a two hour lunch. I came back and worked from 12-6. Now, the only reason they are doing it is because they want me to be there for the big morning rush...otherwise I'd just be coming in at noon. I think it's shit that they do that to me instead of somebody that actually lives in the area. Most of my co workers go home on their 1 hour lunch breaks, but I live half an hour away. I usually just go to B&N and taking a nap in their big reading chairs. It just irritates the shit out of me that I'm working every day but not getting a full 40hrs.
My cousin Brian is staying in TN with his dad for the next two or three weeks. He's miserable as fuck out there. His step mom is a bitch, and his dad refuses to spend any time with him. What was the point of dragging him down there away from all of his friends if he's not going to take some time off of work and do shit with him? So he's basically been down there doing chores and babysitting his baby nephew. I am going to take him camping when he gets back, so he's been looking forward to it.
Well anyway, that's all I have to babble about right now, so I'll write some more later.
