yeah, there was about a year that i only saw a computer about once a month. those were as close to your dates as i could get morgue_orgy, sorry... i gotta hear this story you got.

all that aside, i had a great friday night. josh came over with guitar hero II and we rocked that game's nuts off. my wife made us awesome food, and jason came over with an isaac asimov book for me. actually a collection of books put into one book called triangle. it is "a pebble in the sky", "the currents of space", and "the stars, like dust". jason left. josh and i sat down with some grandpa's guitars (how are we going to play without no electricals huh? think about it) and tried to play dethklok's song thunderhorse by ear on real guitars while the other one was playing it on guitar hero. we looked at tab afterwards on the internet and were surprised at how well we pulled some parts out of thin air and were quite close. then we wrote some awesome sounding metal. we decided we needed dessert. we had no sweets in the house so we debated where to go. barnes and noble won because josh had special ordered "lords of chaos". i realized just how metal we really were when we went there last week and we all left with books about norse folklore and viking culture. my wife and i are talking about learning norweigean and going to norway for our 10 year anniversary. josh got his book. i got a cup of blackened blood, and my lovely wife got a $4.00 piece of cheesecake. we left barnes and noble, put in some metal and drove around with the windows down and the heat on. drove through a cemetary while listening to children of bodom with that eerie little crescent moon in the pitch black sky. then down to the beach. we really just kind of drove in circles after that. we did one time drive through a parking lot, just because we saw people in it. rolled the window down even more, cranked the stereo, drove really slow and stared. it felt very spinal tap. i don't know, it was quite juvenile. damn! i'm 29 years old!!! that's something i would have done when i was 18 on our way out of the movie theater parking lot after beavis and butt-head.
