Books Are My Only Friends on This Base...
So today looks like it's going to be spent in the library reading Catch-22...
I love this book, but I was hoping to find something else in this library but alas, the Army does not possess a very extensive collection of literature outside of the lines of Tom Clancy novels...ugh.
Surprisingly they do have William Faulkner, so I think I'm going to burn through As I Lay Dying after I murder this book today. Feel free to call me at any time throughout today and tomorrow...I'd love to talk to someone rather than just sit secluded reading all day.
Oh yeah, I met some guy with the last name of "Dood" today. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself while thinking of Chris Dennison.
