press one for english

I know it's ethnocentric of me to say this... but I shouldn't have to press one for english. English should be the default.

It is the default, that's why you're pressing 1.

Para espanol, abre numero dos.

It works the same as the one at the pharmacy, you press a number to get to another board, they just need to know which board to send you too. You're pressing one to go on to the next step, instead of listening to the choices over and over, which is what happens when you press nothing.

They could set it up so that it automatically goes to the english menu when nothing is pressed.

Is it really that difficult for you to press 1? Or are you just that resentful of other cultures?

I think Angel might be rubbing off on you.

Why would I be resentful of other cultures? And how would this demonstrate resent even if it were there?

Then you tell me, why does it matter whether or not English is the default?

I personally hate being inconvenienced in any way. I'm not resenting anyone's culture. I'm just being selfish.

I guess I could have made that leap on my own had I truly thought about it.
