the nitty gritty

After almost a week of doing absolutely nothing, I finally plucked up the courage to accept UBC's offer, officially. It seems like a very..big decision, though i've been expecting this day to come for ages. Last night I spent five hours in front of the Canadian Immigration website, trying to figure out how to apply for a  bloody study permit. It is STILL bugging me cos I've got to get so many documents ready, and it sucks doing all these paper work. And now I'm irritated by this rule of theirs (the U's) that I might have to take the Language Proficiency Index (LPI) test to prove that I'm competent in English.

The air is hot, stuffy and stifling. This is boring me. I want to do, something.

Would these, then, throw down their final, forever saved-up,
forever hidden, unknown to us, eternally valid
coins of happiness before the at last
genuiinely smiling pair on the gratified
carpet?
