In the end, 2 star was a ball of fun, despite my earlier whinings about it being boring.
the image, or sensation, or instructions yelled by the Alex has yet to leave me, particularly during eskimo bow rescue. haha, it was so exhilarating to emerge from the surface of the disgusting water after half drowning and ejecting for three failed attempts! there is a sense of immediate relief- first being able to breathe properly, and then hearing the cheers of your fellow 2 star mates.
i have no idea what the self capsize and self rescue thing was for, but anyway that was the next best- and satisfying part of the course. and of course, not forgetting the friends which made everything wonderful.
