Out of Nina's Piano (An assignment from my Advocates of Peace class)

Build a heart out of aftermaths, cut out the bitterness and the deadening, rotting complacencey.
Let the blood be reliquished back into thesoil.
The iron need not be used by the blacksmiths for swords
but, toiled from the forge
actions of strength,
full of endless restraint.
But, not one mineral of cowardice.
Don't fall or be too humble.
Start the fire with a strong beat of a common goal.
Feet will fill the streets doing their best not to act
as beast or police.
Name the rhythm and dance
that can topple
the concrete of institutions.
Name it Agape and get unconditional.
