I nearly worked a triple shift today, which sounds like a lot but my shifts are only four hours long. Today was the last day to get hours added to the last paycheck I'll get before going to Orlando, so money is good. I left work for a nice dinner at Cracker Barrel, which was yummy as usual. Still a bit blah over Joe, which bugs me because I want to move on, as if I had somewhere to move on to.
I got that CB working, I basically had to rewire the thing. I ran new power wires, added a new cigarette lighter adapter, and wrapped the wires in duck tape so it looks nice and pretty. I still need to go pick up an external speaker for it, but that'll most likely have to wait until payday. I love working on electronics, quite fun, especially when installing new stuff in my car. I wish more people would hire me to do their stereo installations, rather than letting electronics stores f*ck-up their cars.
I need a new hard drive, this is getting rather bad. I'm starting to wonder if this computer will continue to function long enough for me to replace the faulty drive. If anyone wants to donate to the "Buy Felix a New Hard Drive" fund, send me an email. Donors will receive...something cool, plus my undying gratitude.
[EDIT: I added more detail to my work on this CB radio because I'm proud of myself for getting the thing working]
