VD Part 1 - Dinner with my partner
Last night my beloved picked me up from work... well actually he sat around waiting for me to finish for half an hour or so (bloody deadlines). Then he gave me my Valentine's Day pressie. Guess what it was? An anti-ageing night cream and serum that I thought I'd been reasonably surreptitious in eyeballing but obviously not. Yes one gets insecure when one is staring down the barrell of 40 and one's partner is a very attractive 13 years younger (yes you are stop wriggling with embarrassment). Luckily I am no problem accepting gifts, even if it could be taken the wrong way and was a very happy Natty indeed at her beloved's thoughtfulness.
Then we went to Borsari's for dinner and had antipasto and pasta & risotto. Yes I ate evil pasta carbs and it was GOOD!!! Washed down by a light but fruity sem sav blanc. We couldn't fit in dessert, so we bid adeiu to our rather gorgeous aryan waiter called Klaus and waddled off home.
Much snuggling ensued. *purr purr purr*
