In the search for all things, one often finds oneself lost but most definately certain that one is somewhere between the past and future. My past, now full of journeys, adventures, and sins, no longer sucks the beauty of each day with its recollections of snowy nights and outrageous freedoms. It was not, afterall, freedom I obtained, rather what I sought and continue now to seek but with much better goals in mind. These goals must have always been distant hopes but now upon my present situation and location in time, space, and california I can see more clearly the possibility of not only achieving them, but living for them every day. In case I ever forget or if I get downtrodden or whatever the case may be I am sealing these goals on the web of things that may be remembered:
1. Every day, give the glory first and only to God; His is the only law.
2. Listen always to the voice the Holy Spirit has given that dwells and speaks inside
3. Do all things to the best;read aggressively, think aggressively, but always write thoughtfully
4. Graduate from UCLA with a BA in film.
5. Be mindful in body and spirit the actions of both an actor and director
6. Seek only to glorify God in artistic expression by celebrating his creation, never debasing it
7. Every day release the negative by expressing through visual mediums
8. Explore new ideas and means of expression
8 & 1/2. Never forget to forgive yourself every day as Christ forgives and never hold onto the past and the guilt it supplies
9. Be and show and exclaim the hands of feet of Jesus in a different country for a considerable amount of time at least one time every single year to carry the light of the Word.
10. Live life! Remember that God made you who you are an you wouldn't be who you are without him or his goodness. He made the earth's wonders and you can enjoy them without abusing them. Live soberly, celebrate often ;)
this takes me to bible.com's verse of the day which is so relevant:
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16
