Damn...I haven't updated here in forever. Last time I updated, I was coming home for a bit...now I'm back for the summer.
This town is so lame...so so lame. Honestly I don't know how people could actually choose to stay in the suburbs after they turn 18. I kind of feel bad when I run into old friends who have just stayed in town. I mean Chicago is like two feet away....It just blows my mind that people actually choose to live in this place. I guess I've just never seen the appeal of small town living...five minutes here and I'm bored as hell. It's going to be embarrassing when the boy comes to visit. I don't think some cali surfer kid is going to enjoy it here at all...
Speaking of which...things are going pretty well with that. It's by far the longest relationship I've ever been in. With everyone else it's been a month or two and then I move on but this is just craziness...We dated a couple months, then got an apartment together last May. After that we got our bad ass puppy...and yeah...that's about it. It's been a long while and we're happy and all that junk...and in September hopefully we'll find a house in Portland, I'll go back to studying philosophy and medicine and he'll keep making bad ass music and money.
And ummm...That's the last year in a half in a nice little paragraph. I'm pretty much only writing this because I just can't get to sleep...why the hell not eh? Maybe I'll be doing some lame survey later to keep me busy as well...hell that's a good idea.
