My schedule is booked today with English Review students. So far I have had one African American guy come in with a heavy heavy accent that I could hardly understand him talking. Well he had to write a paper and he chose Genocide for his topic. I couldn't understand him so I had to look through his papers to understand his topic, and then I dont want to seem 'unsmart' but I didnt have a clue what that was! and here I was supposed to help him, haha- God I'm dumb. So I managed to tell him how to set up an outline to write with and then we found a couple books with pictures! and that was sad.
At the moment I have a kid writing about basketball-- OK so I have not a damn clue about that either, hahaha I'm sure he thinks I'm dumb- I sent him to the computer to find more stuff, only half an hour left of faking- and then another student comes in at 3 for engish review also.
