Busy busy busy...
My dad's memorial service is this weekend. It is going to be very hard. We received the news of his death on May 16, and I had planned to go visit him on May 22 so he could meet Andrew for the first time. I know he was looking forward to it. I haven't planned to speak at the service. I don't think I could manage it.

Andrew had his 1 month checkup yesterday. He's gained 2lbs 7oz in a month! He's also grown a whole inch. I think he's going to be a big boy!

Tried to take 5 minutes of mommy alone-time last night. Made myself a pseudo- banana split with a banana and mackinaw island fudge ice cream. It still counts as a serving of fruit, folks! Didn't get much enjoyment from it though, because DH couldn't manage to take his attention away from the video game he wasn't really even playing for the 5 minutes to keep Andrew calm. Then, he didn't understand why I was mad at him for this.
