Ok but busy
Just thought i'd do a quick update. Things are going ok with the teaching, but i am pretty busy at the moment with counselling night-class, tutoring, jimmy's, having a life as well as doing the job full-time. I like the school and most of the kids and i'm finding the stuff i'm teaching interesting (though i can't say all the kids do). The weirdest thing is when you see the children out of school, i find it quite embarassing, but also quite nice when they wave and say 'hi miss!' it is as if they actually like me which is nice and makes the job more enjoyable. I went on a trip with the Year 11's to manchester down the mines which was fun and i got to know the kids better as i don't teach yr 11 this year, but now they all say hello to me in the corridors and are friendly. I would like to go on more trips as you do bond with the kids better and both you and they realise the other is human and quite fun. Anyhow, better go finish my counselling homework, i'm always leaving it til the last minute! See you. N. xxx
