Perfect Ending...
Such a perfect ending to a stressful week........all of the stress of which culminated today. Had my Money & Banking presentation, which went well until I choked on the question she asked me. Looked like an idiot for several minutes until I finally got the answer. Then a rapid rush downtown for my Geology lab. It's always fun looking at rocks in the dark when it's freezing outside. Then I had to run (literally) back to campus for my voice final, when I nearly got hit by a car. I was crossing legally and all nice when some guy made a rapid left turn and nearly got me all over his fender. He didn't even see me until I jumped out of the way. He was freaked out, kept asking if I was ok. I was pissed for 5 minutes, then I completely broke down. It seriously took everything in me to keep from just sitting on the sidewalk sobbing. I know it's a little stupid (he didn't hit me), but it still scared the pure hell out of me. Was still able to get to my voice final on time. Did the duet fairly well, then waited for two hours before doing my second song. That one I completely screwed up. I messed up the words twice, took my breath in all the wrong places, then kept running out of breath since I was still shaky from the car thing and now was upset about the song, my throat was tight, and was all closed over. It was horrible.
But now it's over, I can relax and I'll be home in about a week......just have to keep thinking that.....
